COIMBATORE, FEB. 14. A free neuro medical check up camp will be jointly conducted by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Midtown, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and The Brain and Spine Foundation, at the Essorpe Rotary Hall, Devanga High School, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 15.

Coaching

Free coaching classes will be held at the District Employment Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 18 and 19, for candidates who will be appearing for the written test for the post of clerk, to be conducted by the South Indian Bank, Thrissur, on February 22. Those who attend these coaching classes must produce a Xerox copy of the hall ticket, according to a release.

Coin mela

The State Bank of India, RS Puram Branch, will operate special counters for exchanging soiled and mutilated notes, and for distributing coins, on February 15. The counters will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Fast

Ten convict prisoners belonging to Hindu outfits went on a day's token fast inside the Central Prison, Coimbatore, to observe February 14, (sixth anniversary of the Coimbatore serial blasts) as a black day.
