Journalist dead

KOZHIKODE, FEB. 15. Freedom fighter and veteran journalist, Vallathol Narayanankutty Menon, died at Valluvambaram in Malappuram district this morning. He was 87.

Mr. Menon who had worked in Mainstream and India Press Agency, had also been the editor of the Calicut Times, an eveninger from Kozhikode. He was one of the veteran Communist leaders in the State. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters. The cremation will take place at his residence at Mankavu, near here, at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
