VISAKHAPATNAM FEB. 15. Pendurthy police on Sunday have registered as suspicious the death of a housewife, G. Kumari, at Pulagalapalem village. Police said the body of the woman was found in a well on Sunday. She was reported missing since Friday. Mother of two children, Kumari was married for 10 years. Nabbed: The City Crime Police nabbed M. Appa Rao (36) and recovered stolen gold of 12 tolas and electronic and silver articles worth about Rs. 1.75 lakhs. According to the police, the accused was involved in cases of house-breaking at Sriharipuram, Marripalem, Santhinagar, Gnanapuram, Gosha Hospital Street and Yandada. His accomplice, Y. Munindra, was apprehended last week. Body found: The body of a 17-year-old student, S. Srinivas, who had drowned in the sea off Rushikonda on Friday, was found on Sunday. Three Town Police said the student had drowned while swimming with his friends. Kidnapping case registered: Three Town Police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint by M.Saraswati of Jalaripeta in the city on Sunday that her four-year-old son, Aradhana, was taken away by her relative over a dispute.
