Valentine's Day picnic trip turns tragic; one killed

BANGALORE, FEB. 15. H.S. Shruti (21), an employee in a computer training institute in the city, died at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences around 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. She was injured on the head when the car by she was travelling hit the railings of a bridge near Sathanur. Ms. Shruthi and her friends were going to a picnic spot at Sangama, the confluence of the rivers Cauvery and Arkavati some 90 km. from here, to celebrate St. Valentine's Day, police said.
