ANANTAPUR, FEB. 16. Seven persons, including four children, were killed and 10 injured when a lorry collided with an overloaded seven-seater near Akkampalli temple, near Kalyanadurg in Anantapur district today. The condition of the three injured was stated to be serious. According to the police and information reaching here, the seven-seater, carrying 17 passengers, was going to Kalyanadurg from Golla village in the mandal when it was hit by the lorry coming in the opposite direction. The auto went up in the air in the impact of the collision, leaving seven persons dead on the spot. The dead were identified as Mallikarjuna (8), Ramesh (10), Abhinay (6), Mounika (3), Eeswaramma (55), Yerramma (60) and Chandrakala (28). The injured were admitted to the Government Hospital at Kalyanadurg. The lorry driver is at large.
