MANGALORE, FEB. 16. The Karavali Plus Women and Child Network (KPWCN) has organised a two-day workshop on food and simple treatment for people affected by HIV/AIDS at the Kerala Health Care, Bendoor Well, from Saturday. A press release from Veenadhari of the network said the workshop had been organised to help people affected by HIV/AIDS to lead a positive and healthy life. Sandeep and William D'Silva, doctors, would give information on nutritious diet, identifying medicinal herbs and plants and using them, and health check-up to the participants while Praveen Kudupu would train them in various activities, Veenadhari added.
