No power
COIMBATORE, FEB. 16 . There will be no power supply in the following places on February 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. owing to shutdown of K.K. Pudur feeder for maintenance work: Mettupalayam Road from Saibaba Koil to Kavundampalayam, Kavundampalayam Housing Unit and surrounding area, Chinnasubbana Gounder Street, Periasubbana Gounder Street, Azhanna Gounder Street, Collector Sivakumar Street, Goundagounder Street, Maniam Masuthakutty Street, Kaliappa Street, Maniam Kaliappan Street, Karuppusamy Maistry Street, Chinnammal Street, Co-operative A and B Colony, Krishnammal Street, Ayyappa Street, Sivasakthi Street, Kamaraj Street, K.G. Layout, Indiranagar, Jeevanagar, K.K. Pudur Girinagar, Shreedevinagar, NSR Road Northern Side from Saibaba Koil to Chinnammal Street.
Consumer meet
The Superintending Engineer of TNEB Coimbatore Metro would conduct a grievances day meeting on February 18 at the office of the Executive Engineer TNEB Coimbatore Metro at 11 a.m., a release said.
Foundation
The foundation for the Ozanam Home for the Aged will be laid on February 18 at Saravanampatti, according to a release.
BSNL fiat
The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has requested its customers to pay the telephone bills dated February 7, before the pay-by-date (February 27) at any of the BSNL collection centres or at the designated branches of the Indian Bank, the Syndicate Bank and the Karur Vysya Bank. According to a release, payments were also accepted for seven days after the pay-by-date with surcharge, at the designated branches of Indian Bank and at the following post offices: R.S. Puram, Coimbatore HPO, Mettupalayam, Tirupur, Palladam, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Avinashi and Anamalai.
