KOCHI, FEB. 17 . The AICC secretary, Ramesh Chennithala, has said the stand taken by the Leader of the Opposition, V.S. Achuthanandan, is jeopardising the unity of secular forces. At a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Chennithala said Mr. Achuthanandan's negative approach to a Congress-led national secular alliance against the BJP was harming the secular cause in the country. The Opposition Leader's hope for a non-Congress, non-BJP front was futile. "Mr. Achuthanandan is in a dream world,'' he said. He claimed that at a time when the nation should focus on unseating the "communal, fascist'' BJP from power, voting for the CPI(M) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would be `inexcusable.'
