SIVAKASI, FEB. 17. An all-round performance by Packiaraj (83 runs and three for 16) helped Sivakasi Town Cricket Club carve out an 86-run victory over Srivilliputhur Town Cricket Club in the Indian Bank - Virudhunagar District Cricket Association First Division league here recently.

The scores: First Division: Sivakasi Town CC 185 for seven in 35 overs (Packiaraj 83) bt Srivilliputhur Town CC 99 in 27.3 overs (Viji 45, Packiaraj three for 16, Kumar three for eight).

Young Indians CC 134 in 39.1 overs (Vignesh 38, Nagesh 32) lost to Renzi CC 135 for six in 35.5 overs (Bala 26, Sakthi three for 12).

Chellenger Star CC 142 for six in 30 overs (Maralitharan 32) lost to Jasmine CC 143 for six in 26.3 overs (Elango 25, Rajaram 25).

Young Indian CC 113 in 28 overs (M. Muthukumar four for 24, Tharsan four for 39) lost to Mepco Schlenk Engg. College 116 for six in 25 overs (M.K. Varun Dinitro 49, Pradeep 25 not out).

Second Division: Golden CC 138 in 26.1 overs (Thamba 49, Sesi five for 31, Venkatesh four for 25) bt Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic 62 in 19.2 overs (Prakash four for 21, Ramesh three for 16).

Bharath CC 91 in 19.2 overs (Ashwin three for 12) lost to Associated C.C 93 for six in 27.3 overs (Baskar three for 18).

Bharath CC 32 in 10.5 overs (Arun Sankar six for four) lost to Liberty CC 33 for three in 6.5 overs.
