Telgi's plea rejected
BANGALORE,
FEB. 17.
The Special Court trying the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam today rejected a prayer of the prime accused, Abdul Karim Telgi, to visit his home town of Khanapur in Belgaum district to attend the funeral of his brother.
The judge, A.T. Manoli, allowed another accused, Parveez Rahim Telgi, son of Abdul Rahim Telgi, who died on Monday, to visit Khanapur for three days to perform the last rites of his father.
