COIMBATORE, FEB. 17. In view of urgent maintenance works to be taken up in the main supply line and in the electrical installations at the Velliangadu treatment plant of the Pilloor Water Supply scheme, there would be no water supply on February 19 to the eastern areas of the Coimbatore Corporation, 22 Town Panchayats and rural habitations served under this project. The supply would be restored on February 20th morning, a press release said. The public and local bodies have been requested to make their own arrangements for one day.
