There is modular office space with provision for computers that will one day replace manual paperwork. There is also space for keeping files. The lockup has an attached toilet; to prevent bad odour and arrested persons from escaping. The police station has been built with space for keeping seized vehicles besides a parking lot for the staff vehicles. The reception area comes as a pleasant change for the distressed complaints. A full-length mirror has been provided for policemen to make sure they look smart. There is a large locker room. The Home Minister, Mallikarjun Kharge, inaugurated the building on Wednesday.
