MUMBAI, FEB. 19. The Working Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet in New Delhi on Saturday (February 28), to finalise India's tour to Pakistan, consider recommendations for the C. K. Nayudu Award for 2002 and 2003 and the Marketing Committee's report on the BCCI's Platinum Jubilee celebrations likely to be scheduled in August. The tour of Pakistan will be a major item on the agenda. At present the BCCI is awaiting an official report on security aspect from the Ministry of Home Affairs Official, Yashovardhan Azad, who travelled with two BCCI officials to Pakistan and returned on Monday. It is the prerogative of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to schedule the itinerary, but there are big question marks against Karachi and Peshawar, which the BCCI regards as extremely sensitive venues. About a dozen associations affiliated to the BCCI have nominated candidates for the prestigious C. K. Nayudu award. Some of the names nominated for two years are M. J. Gopalan, Chandu Sarwate and Gulabrai Ramchand, all of whom passed away recently, Bhagwat Chandrashekar, Erapalli Prasanna, Bapu Nadkarni, Abid Ali, Dattajitrao Gaekwad and Abbas Ali Baig. A special committee headed by former BCCI President, N. K. P. Salve, will recommend names to the Working Committee. By Our Special Correspondent
