Letters to the Editor
Sir, Though the situation appears to be in favour of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, it may not work at the hustings if the Congress stitches together an effective coalition with the help of the anti-BJP parties and approaches the voters with a progressive common agenda.
K. Krishnarjuna Rao,
* * * Sir, In changing stands, our politicians have no peers. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, which in the past has been the victim of the Congress' policies, is now hobnobbing with the Congress and vowing to `finish' the NDA Government of which it had been a part till recently.
V.E. Venkataramani,
* * * Sir, It is time we set standards for candidates contesting elections. Let not politics be the last resort of `failures' in other fields.
