New premises for South Malabar Gramin Bank
KOZHIKODE: A. Sujanapal, MLA, inaugurated the new building of the Karaparambu branch of the South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB), at a programme held here recently. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sujanapal lauded the contribution of the SMGB in the rural sector, besides maintaining a high standard in loan dispersal.
The functioning of rural banks ought to a model for other banks to emulate, he opined. The bank Chairman, T. Thomas Mathew, Area Manager, R. Narayanan Nair, branch manager, Shaila C. George, among others spoke.
