BANGALORE, FEB. 19. The Technology Demonstrator-1 version of the Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas) today achieved another milestone by crossing Mach 1.4 at a speed of 950 kmph approximately at 11 km altitude. It was the aircraft's 73rd flight test. Sources in the Aeronautical Development Agency said the aircraft was piloted by Wg. Cdr. Vikram Singh while Gp. Capt. Rakesh Badauria directed the flight.
