Letters to the Editor
Sir, First it was the calculated master brain of Karim Telgi who successfully smuggled out the sophisticated stamp paper printing machine from the high-security Nasik Government Press; now it is the escape of Sher Singh Rana, prime accused in the Phoolan Devi murder, from the high-security Tihar jail. The latter especially looks like a direct lift from a Hindi pot-boiler.
R. Sekar,

R. Rajendar Goud,
* * * Sir, The prefix "high security" has become a joke. The incident shows that criminals are always a step ahead of the law-enforcement machinery.
H. Ghouse Baig,
