Ex-AIADMK functionary killed

RAMANATHAPURAM, FEB.21. A former AIADMK union secretary, Karmekam (50), was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Friday.

According to the police, Karmekam was going home from here to Achuthanvayal in a cycle when an unknown vehicle from the opposite direction dashed against the cycle, killing him on the spot.
