Cognizant buys Ygyan Consulting

CHENNAI, FEB. 21. Cognizant Technology Solutions has acquired the Pune-based SAP services provider, Ygyan Consulting, for about $2 million along with its staff. The transaction will be completed by the end of this month. According to Lakshmi Narayanan, CEO and President, Cognizant, with growing demand for offshore services, Cognizant has felt the need for SAP services. Ygyan is a niche player in this segment. - Our Staff Correspondent
