Two of family die in suicide pact

KURNOOL, FEB. 21. Two of a family died in a suicide pact while the family head and another girl are battling for life at Alibad in Peapuly mandal of Kurnool district on Saturday.

According to reports, Sriramulu (30), a cement factory worker, his wife and two daughters attempted suicide by consuming pesticide. His wife, Parvathi, and elder daughter, Laxmidevi (5), died while Sriramulu and another daughter, Kalyani (2), were admitted to General Hospital here in a critical condition. In a note, they stated that ill-health was the reason for their deciding to end their lives.
