HYDERABAD, FEB. 21. The Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Forum, while condemning the threats held out by naxalites to activists of the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, appealed to them to stop the killings. S. Jeevan Kumar, convenor, and K. Balagopal, State Committee member of the forum, in a statement issued here on Saturday faulted the Government for banning the People's War. It was wrong on the part of extremists to impose a similar ban on political activists in the context of political freedom to be respected by all in a democratic set-up. They said people alone could judge the actions of various political parties. This could not be exercised either by the Government, that could issue ban orders, or by the PW by countering the ban.
