Honour for scientist

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 21. B. C. Pai, Senior Deputy Director of the Regional Research Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram (RRL-T), has been awarded the MRSI medal for his contribution to the field of Materials Science and Engineering related to the synthesis and development of AI alloy metal matrix composites, The award was given to him during the 15th annual general meeting of the Materials Research Society of India held at the Banares Hindu University, Varanasi earlier this month. The Aluminium alloy matrix composites developed at RRL-T under the leadership of Dr.Pai finds extensive application in automotive and engineering industries making the performance more economical and eco-friendly.
