`Resignation unconditional'

THRISSUR, FEB. 21. The former MLA, V. Balaram, has said that he had vacated the Wadakkanchery Assembly seat unconditionally to enable the Electricity Minister, K. Muraleedharan, to contest from there.

Mr. Balaram told reporters here on Saturday that he did not see the resignation as an act of sacrifice, but as a service to the party.
