VIJAYAWADA, FEB. 21. The LG Electronics on Saturday launched a new range of fully automatic washing machines in Vijayawada. The company, which is one of India's leading consumer durable brands, aims at capturing a bigger chunk of the washing machines market. The 14 new models of LG FAWS come in the range of 5 kg to 7 kg capacity and have a range of nine models of top loaders and five of front loaders. The new machine senses three vital attributes such as temperature of water, water-hardness and detergent density to ensure a better and cleaner wash of clothes. The products will be priced in the range of Rs. 12,990--Rs.42,000 with a two-year warranty and assured service support. The local branch manager of the company, D. Mallikarjuna Raju, said the LG Electronics was committed to bring its latest products to Vijayawada as the local market had always shown encouraging response to its products.
