BANGALORE, FEB. 21. For the first time ever, the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) will allot 20,000 residential sites at Arkavathi Layout. This is the biggest residential project taken up by the BDA so far. The Arkavathi project follows the successful completion of allotting 10,000 sites at Visvesvaraya Layout at Banashankari 6th stage extension in a record time. Of the 20,000 sites at Arkavathi Layout, 8,000 sites of 20 x 30 ft. each are reserved for the economically weaker sections. Another 6,000 sites of 30 x 40 ft., 3,500 sites of 40 x 60 ft., and 2,500 sites of 50 x 80. ft. each are reserved for various other categories. Application forms will be available from Monday at various branches of Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, and Corporation Bank. The applications are to be submitted on or before April 30.
