SRINAGAR, FEB. 22. A ruling People's Democratic Party leader was among four persons killed in Jammu and Kashmir where security forces smashed three militant hideouts and recovered nearly 650 kg of explosives and 11,000 rounds of ammunition since last evening, an official spokesman said today. In the third attack on ruling party leaders within a week, militants today shot dead the PDP block president, Ghulam Nabi Baig, at Pahalgam in Anantnag district. No outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the killing. Militants shot dead a private teacher in his house at Gopalpora in Anantnag district on Saturday night. A body was recovered from Chitibandi-Bandipora area of Baramulla.
