BANGALORE, FEB. 22. Venkatesh (39), a resident of Tamrakannan Road, Murphy Town, allegedly stabbed ``Dabba'' Suresh (26) with a knife following an altercation on Sunday. Suresh died of injuries. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ulsoor, Sivarama Reddy, said the fight started after Suresh allegedly abused and assaulted Venkatesh's son, Chander (19). Enraged by this, Venkatesh stabbed Suresh in the neck, Mr. Reddy said.
Arrested
S.J. Park Police arrested Kiran (23) of Urladi village in Arasikere taluk and recovered gold ornaments, a camera and a mobile phone, in all worth about Rs. 60,000. The valuables, which belonged to Krishnamurthy of Tamil Nadu, were allegedly stolen from a room at Malleswaram New Krishna Bhavan Guesthouse in Seshadripuram Police limits in May last.
