Meet on forex business
MANGALORE: Banks will have to pass on the benefits of the Reserve Bank of India's liberalisation policies to customers to accelerate forex trade said the Deputy General Manager of Corporation Bank, B. R. Bhat. Inaugurating a week-long seminar on the forex business in Mangalore on Monday, he said the RBI had announced various relaxations in the recent past and made the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) customer friendly. The experts participating in the seminar have observed that India's foreign trade had been growing consistently.
