Letters to the Editor
Sir, __ Elections are a boon for the voters; they reap the maximum benefits from benevolent politicians. A social security scheme for the unorganised sector by the Centre and the Tamil Nadu Government lifting the ban on animal sacrifice are only two examples. The election process in the world's largest democracy has been successful in that it has made governments care for the people at least at the end of their terms.
