Letters to the Editor
Sir, The coming India-Pakistan cricket series represents once again "the beginning of a friendly relationship." Strictly speaking, it is the beginning of a friendly political relationship. Politics and sports should not be mixed. The two sides should not treat it like a war. They should remember that "the best horse in a race does not always win."
Md. Salman Arafath,
Sir, Every Indian cricket lover wants our team to beat Pakistan on its home turf. But is the timing of the tour right?
I.S. Sundarraj,
