Task force to address tribals' problems

By Our Staff Reporter

BHUBANESWAR, FEB. 24. The Orissa Government will constitute a task force to look into the problems of the landless tribals and other backward communities.

At a rally organised by a voluntary organisation here, the caretaker Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, said the task force would identify the available land and suggest ways for proper distribution of the same among the landless people.

A large number of landless tribals and Dalits participated in the rally organised by Ekta Parishad.

They marched through Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam and Khurda to reach Bhubaneswar.
