NEW DELHI, FEB. 24. Ashok Kumar has regained the top position in the Order of Merit list of the Indian PGA Tour. The 22-year-old professional moved up following his remarkable victory in the Padampat Singhania Open golf tournament at Noida last week. Ashok has so far won Rs.7,23,010 from 12 starts and has nine top 10 finishes. He displaced Vijay Kumar who was away playing in the Carlsberg Malaysian Open, a joint-sanctioned event on the European and Asian PGA Tours. Mukesh Kumar was in the second place, Rs.20,000 adrift of Ashok. S. S. P. Chowrasia, with earnings of Rs.6,76,365 was third. The top 15 (after 14 events): 1. Ashok Kumar (Rs.7,23,010), 2.
