Quantech to invest $3 m

BANGALORE: Quantech Global Services Limited, an automotive design, analysis and engineering services company, based in the U.S. is expanding its Asian Technical Centre (ATC) facility in Bangalore. The company plans to invest $3 million for its expansion that includes adding 300 more engineers and putting up a new 30,000 sq. ft. facility. The President and CEO of Quantech, Mukesh Gandhi, told presspersons here on Tuesday that India and Asia Pacific offered tremendous business opportunity and the company's growth strategy was to expand and bring design and engineering capabilities closer to its customers. At present, the company had 200 engineers each in the U.S. and India. At present, Quantech has two technical centres, one in the U.S. and the other in Hyderabad where it has invested $5 million.
