`Mufti Government implementing hidden agenda'

By Our Staff Reporter

JAMMU, FEB. 24. The National Conference (NC) on Tuesday accused the Mufti Government of implementing a hidden agenda and working to erode the special status of the State guaranteed under Article 370 of the Constitution.

As soon as the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly gathered for the day, members, led by Mir Saifullah and Qaiser Lone, sought the Speaker's attention to the ``ways and means'' of the present regime to erode the special status of the State. They also demanded an explanation from the Government on the alleged custodial killing of a civilian in Tral area of Pulwama district, and alleged torture of a special police officer in Poonch district by a local DSP.
