GM-Suzuki pact
NEW DELHI,
FEB. 25.
Maruti Udyog Ltd, in which Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation holds a major stake, may soon launch a range of cars from the General Motors stable that includes the multi-utility vehicle Isuzu Panther.
General Motors, the world's biggest automaker, owns 49 per cent stake in Isuzu and 20 per cent in Suzuki Motors.
The move is being contemplated as part of steps to increase synergies between Suzuki and General Motors around the world, including India.
