VIJAYAWADA, FEB. 25. The Suryaraopet police arrested four persons on Wednesday on the charge of assaulting some RTA employees at their office on M.G. Road. The accused, all agents, allegedly tried to gatecrash into the RTA office. However, when one of the employees objected, he was reportedly manhandled. Following this, the Deputy Transport Commissioner, S.A.V. Prasada Rao, lodged a complaint with the police who took into the custody the four agents. Found dead: The body of S. Ghantaiah (35), a resident of Ramakoti, was found in a drainage canal near the city civil courts last night. Police shifted the body to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. The Suryaraopet police said that Ghantaiah might have died of heart attack.
