HYDERABAD, FEB. 25. The All-India Christian Council has demanded from different political parties a seat from each district in the State and one Lok Sabha seat from each region for Christians. Leaders of the council, K. Prabhukumar, Francis, K .Vinod Kumar and M. Praveen in a statement issued here said the council would extend support to the party which allocates tickets as demanded. They wanted a constitutional amendment to provide for Christians at least five seats to the Lok Sabha, State Assemblies and local bodies and "special religious freedom" to the community.
