Appeal to Muslims

Sir, — This refers to the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's appeal to Muslims to think carefully before casting their vote (Feb. 26). The minorities have to remember carefully that a BJP Government was in office in Uttar Pradesh when the Babri Masjid was demolished; that the BJP was in power in Gujarat in 2002 when innocent Muslims were killed.
