GUWAHATI, FEB. 27. Thirty persons were killed and several injured when the Guwahati-bound Kanchenjungha Express collided with a truck carrying a marriage party at an unmanned level-crossing near Dinajpur in West Bengal this afternoon. The Chief Public Relations Officer, Leena Sharma, said the accident occurred around 5.20 p.m. No train passenger was injured in the accident, she said. The railway authorities could not be held responsible for any accident occurring at any unmanned level-crossing.
