MANGALORE, FEB. 27. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to provide 1,500 free bus passes to mentally challenged sportspersons and their attendants to attend "Special Olympics 2004," a three-day State-level sports event to be held in Udupi from March 4. In a press release, the Area Director, Special Olympics, Vasanth Kumar Shetty, said the attendants of the mentally challenged sportspersons and institutions looking after them could obtain the bus passes from the office of the Divisional Controller in their respective district. The list of sportspersons selected to participate in the event had been sent to the institutions and the persons concerned. More details could be had over ph: 94482-15397.
