MUMBAI, FEB. 28. Lupin has entered into an agreement with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, an U.S-based medical products company, wherein the latter will exclusively distribute the company's generic version of ceftriaxone sterile vials for injection in the U.S. Lupin intends to launch the product in the U.S. after the product patent expiry in July 2005, the pharma major said in a release here. Lupin is the first and only company with an ANDA approval from the USFDA for ceftriaxone.
