Mathivanan to take charge as Karaikal Regional Administrator

PONDICHERRY, FEB. 28. The Lt Governor has ordered transfer and posting of a bunch of officers of Pondicherry Civil Service cadre with immediate effect.

The order issued today announced the transfer of the District Registrar of Pondicherry, V. Mathivanan, to take charge as Regional Administrator at Karaikal vice S. M. Khannaji transferred.

S Sundaravadivelu the Deputy Secretary (Administrative Reforms Wing) has been transferred and posted as District Registrar vice Mathivanan transferred.

S.M. Khannaji the Regional Administrator of Karaikal has been transferred to the post of Joint Secretary Administrative Reforms Wing vice S Sundaravadivelu transferred.

The Regional Administrator of Yanam, P.Gautam Reddy, has been transferred to take charge as Administrative Officer of Pondicherry Textiles Corporation on deputation basis vice S.D. Sundaresan, repatriated.

S.D. Sundaresan, Administrative Officer of the PTC on repatriation has been transferred and posted as Regional Administrator of Yanam vice P Gautam Reddy, transferred.

G. Panneerselvam Transport Commissioner has been transferred to the post of Director Local Administration Department vice P Jayarajan, granted leave. Panneerselvam will however hold full additional charge of the post of Transport Commissioner until further orders.

Jayanta Kumar Ray, General Manager of District Industries Centre (DIC) Pondicherry has been transferred to the post of Director of Department of Industries and Commerce. He will also hold additional charge of the post of General Manager DIC until further orders.

S.Chandrasekaran, Director of Art and Culture has been transferred to the post of Director, Adi Dravidar Welfare Department vice N Sumathi transferred to the post of Director of Art and Culture.
