Dry weather

in south

CHENNAI, FEB. 28. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka and changed a little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at a few places over Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu and south coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over rest Karnataka, rest Telangana, Rayalaseema and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Monday morning): Isolated rain is likely to occur over Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
