Muslims seek quota in legislatures

HYDERABAD, FEB. 28. Mohd. Fasiuddin, president, Minorities Rights Protection Committee, has demanded reservation of 15 per cent for Muslims in both Parliament and Assembly seats. Though Justice Puttuswamy Commission was set up to look into the matter, nothing positive had come out of it, Mr. Fasiuddin said.

He was addressing a meeting called by the Minorities Rights Protection Committee to discuss the problems of the minorities here on Friday.
