Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is in response to the Maharashtra Government's ban on the entry of those below the age of 21 into pubs and beer bars. Do our country and the youth need cultural policing? Do we not know that the more one tries to enforce or impose something, the more will be the retaliation and opposition? While we claim that our culture personifies tolerance, why have we become so intolerant towards others' lives and choices? Vishnubhatta Ramachandra, Chennai
