Model entrance tests

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 29. The Thiruvananthapuram branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) will be conducting a model entrance examination for the benefit of those appearing for the PG Entrance Test, to be conducted by the State Government on March 27.

The model test is to be held at the IMA auditorium here from 1 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on March 7. An evaluation of the performance of the candidates will be held on March 14.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), in association with the Vidyarthi Seva Trust, will be organising a model entrance examination as well as orientation classes, for students preparing for the common entrance test to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in the last week of April, for admission to the medical and engineering courses.

March 15 is the last date for registering for the model test to be conducted in 11 districts in the first week of April. The results will be communicated to the candidates along with the answer keys and answer papers within a week of the model test.

The applications forms will be available at all leading book stalls in the State. The forms can also be downloaded from the website "www.vidyasarani.org".
