Israel okays Phalcon deal

JERUSALEM, FEB. 29. T he Israeli security cabinet has approved the deal with India for the sale of $1.1 billion Phalcon Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS).

The final terms for the deal were agreed upon during the discussions the Israeli Defence Ministry Director had with the Indian officials in New Delhi in December. — PTI
