This Day That Age
The Travancore-Cochin Ministry is to submit its resignation to the Rajpramukh on March 3. Announcing this in Trivandrum on March 2, the Chief Minister, Mr. A. J. John, said it would enable the Rajpramukh to take steps to form a stable Ministry in the State. With only two more results to be announced in the elections to the 117-member Assembly, the party position was: Congress - 45; Communists - 23; Praja Socialist Party - 18; Revolutionary Socialist Party - 9; Travancore Tamil Nad Congress - 12; Independents - 8. Total - 115.
