Zak plans expo centre

CHENNAI: Zak Trade Fairs & Exhibitions is planning to set up an expo centre on the outskirts of Chennai at an outlay of Rs. 15 crores. According to Syed Zakir Ahmed, Managing Director of the company, the facility would include a state-of-the-art building, which would act as an international standard venue for future trade fairs and exhibitions. In the last one year the company had conducted 34 exhibitions with entry into two new industries namely herbal products and glass and glazing industry, he said.
