Aim for bigger goals, Minister tells students

PONDICHERRY, MARCH 2. The Education Minister, K. Lakshminarayanan, today called upon students to aim for achieving bigger goals in life. Releasing books `India 2020 for Students' and `India 2020 for Children' authored jointly by the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and academic Y.S. Rajan, at a function held on the premises of the Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School here, Mr. Lakshminarayanan said the youth should follow the guidelines prescribed in the books to achieve greater heights in their career.

The Managing Director of the New Century Book House, Chennai, R. Radhakrishnamoorthy, said authorities in Pondicherry could prescribe the books under non-detailed studies in the curriculum. Mr. Rajan and the Principal, Antonisamy, spoke.
